Three Acts is a chronicle of Ken Aptekar's transformation into two historical figures
at the hands of a Parisian make-up artist/stylist, Pierre Marie Humeau. It was
videotaped in Paris and in the private apartments of Louis XV and Madame de Pompadour
in the Chateau de Versailles. Three Acts premiered at Reed College in
"Ken Aptekar: A Personal Public," August 20 to November 18, 2004, and was
shown at Espace d'Art Contemporain Camille Lambert, Juvisy, France,
March 12 to April 9, 2005, and at Beard & Weil Galleries at Wheaton College, February 6 to April 14, 2012.
